disclaimer: I come from a relatively ok household with its own share of issues that I am able to deal with healthily. if you are in a household that is toxic and unsafe beyond your control, please do not compromise your own wellbeing and consider alternative housing options (money is well-spent if it is on you!!) also just to clarify, Singaporeans are eligible for limited public housing options upon reaching 35 years of age, ya but that’s like very far far away for a lot of young people here haha
