Both the parents working is a very common scenario. It’s actually the norm of the day. Non-working spouse or one of them non-working is an example by exception because otherwise it’s a good thing this little change which the society has gone through. I would like to start here by saying that a marriage is happy if everything in it is balanced. If there is loss of balance then there will be problems and children happen to tip this balance more than anything else. Children occupy space, children need efforts and children need constant attention to do a fair job of the job called parenting. So when you decide to be parents please understand that do you have the bandwidth for a two shift job. Your profession and your parent duty which will be a big part of your and if you want to be fair then you have to be fair with the child. Now the first thing which first comes into my mind when I would say for child development if you are a working couple you make sure that each of you should be eager to take, none of you should be waiting for the other person to do the job while you are just in the background. Both of you , an ideal couple who takes turn in waking up the child in the morning and then they had an understanding that one of them will put the child to bed while the other was making sure that the lunch for next day was planned. These kind of little small adjustments where both of you are actively involved in parenting. That is one of the biggest contributors to good child development because the child should have a united image of the parents. To know more tips in details, watch the video.
