Parenting Teens and Tweens can be complex and challenging unless you have a lens to view the family and relationships through. Parenting teens and tweens is sometimes easier when you look at the concept of the family as a system. When we change one part of a system, such as a behavioral modification of one family member, the theory contends, the new adjustment may affect other parts of the whole system. Family Systems Theory believes it may be possible to change an entire household with simple changes in any one person.
